CHICAGO – The Canadian National Railway Co. claims it has the right to suspend $40 million in pension benefits to its retired CEO, defendant E. Hunter Harrison, because Harrison breached nondisclosure and noncompete agreements with a competitor, Canadian Pacific Railway, which wants to hire him, in Federal Court.
