5th Circuit

ATTORNEY FEES – A man sued by record companies for illegally downloading copyrighted music challenged a ruling denying him attorney fees. The 5th Circuit ruled that because the claims were not frivolous, and the companies tried to contact the defendant for six months prior to filing, the court properly denied attorney fees. Affirmed. See ruling.
