6th Circuit

ELECTIONS – The 6th Circuit vacated an injunction against the enforcement of three canons challenged by a judicial candidate whose campaign slogan, “Money and Judges Don’t Mix,” did not comply with code. The court found that the disciplinary counsel’s failure to assert abstention before arguing for dismissal did not constitute a waiver of the right to seek dismissal. See ruling.
