INSURANCE – The 7th Circuit remanded a lower court’s refusal to offset $4.8 million in payments a judgment debtor received from other insurers in a $26.5 million lawsuit against United Plastics. J. Posner found that the lower court’s analysis of the extent of coverage under the excess insurance policy failed to properly account for the limited time frame that the underlying policy insured. See ruling.
