9th Circuit

BANKRUPTCY, ATTORNEY FEES – The 9th Circuit found that creditors’ successful challenge to the denial of attorney fees in a bankruptcy claim also entitles them to attorney fees on appeal. Creditors were able to overturn the denial of legal fees incurred in connection with an involuntary Chapter 7 petition against the debtor. See ruling.
