A check to regret

LAFAYETTE, La. (CN) — A Louisiana federal judge dismisses a motorist’s personal injury claim against the U.S. Postal Service because he cashed the Postal Service’s settlement check of $6,686, releasing the government from future claims, e.g. his demand for more than $2.5 million in property damage and injuries.
