IOWA CITY, Iowa — Siding with President Donald Trump’s election campaign and Republican groups, an Iowa trial judge ruled the auditor of Johnson County must tell voters who were sent absentee ballot request forms prepopulated with their personal information that they need to apply for new ballot request forms.

The judge ruled the Iowa secretary of state “specifically ordered county auditors to distribute only blank absentee ballot request forms.”
