(CN) – Indiana and New Mexico are accused of refusing to offer voter registration forms at government offices, as required by the National Voter Registration Act. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, a plaintiff in both cases, claims Indiana discriminates against blacks and the poor by failing to have the forms at public assistance offices. New Mexico is accused of failing to offer voter registration with drivers licenses applications and renewals.
