Amazon class action dismissed

SEATTLE — Amazon Prime subscribers’ consolidated class action against the tech giant was dismissed in a Washington federal court, which ruled against their claims that Amazon breached the terms of its conditions by introducing commercials to its streaming service, but allows users to pay an extra $2.99 monthly to opt out from ads. The court says that introducing the commercials did not breach the terms because Amazon never promised its streaming service would remain ad-free.
