Another Newspaper Group in Chapter 11

WILMINGTON, Del. (CN) – Citing a “severe decline” in ad revenue, American Community Newspapers filed for bankruptcy, listing more than $100 million in debts. The company owns 86 newspapers and claims circulation of 1.3 million in its four key areas – Minneapolis, Northern Virginia, Dallas, and Columbus, Ohio, and their suburbs.
