Art professor’s retaliation claims against SUNY school proceed

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — A federal judge in New York permitted a female art department professor’s gender discrimination and retaliation claims to proceed against SUNY Binghamton. She says that since 2019, she’s suffered harassment and exclusion from training events because she reported one of her colleagues, with whom she had a tumultuous relationship that ended in 2005 following abuse allegations, for allegedly harassing her after the breakup.
