VANCOUVER, B.C. (CN) – An attorney claims radio station CKNW defamed him by publishing his photo at the bottom of a story about a “naturopathic doctor” who was convicted of sexually exploiting a 16-year-old patient. The attorney says he had nothing to do with the case and had no idea his photo had been posted on the Internet until a court clerk told him so. Attorney Marvin M. Stern demands punitive damages from CKNW and its corporate parent, Corus Entertainment. He is represented in B.C. Supreme Court by Howard Rubin.
