Attorney Sues L.A. Superior Court Judge

LOS ANGELES (CN) – Attorney **Ronald Gottschalk sued Los Angeles **Superior Court and temporary Superior Court **Judge Luis Vargas , claiming Vargas is the fifth judge who has failed to disclose conflicts of interest in a case.      The suit is apparently about attorney fees and damages in an underlying class action over diet drugs. The defendant in the underlying case, International Medical Research, went into bankruptcy days before trial was set to begin in the class action, according to Gottshcalk’s complaint.     His action also names as a defendant Barrett Litt ,  well-know white collar lawyer in Los Angeles, who represented IMR. See federal complaint.
