ATTORNEYS

California ** Courts Of Appeal

ATTORNEYS, ANTI-SLAPP – Two San Diego County real estate agents sued an attorney for allegedly assuming attorney-client duties in their class action against a listing service, but then abandoning them in order to represent adverse interests. J. O’Rourke reversed the grant of the attorney’s special motion to strike on the grounds that the plaintiffs’ claims stemmed from petitioning activity and they did not demonstrate a probability of prevailing because the Noerr-Pennington doctrine provided a complete defense. Reversed.
