FORT WORTH – After promising a brief forbearance on mortgage payments because of the death of his wife, who had been a longtime Bank of America employee, BofA’s “condescending, disrespectful and downright nasty” employees bombarded the widower with up to 10 dunning phone calls a day, repeatedly screwed up paperwork, and violated its own promises, the widower says.
