Bomb Threat Closes Court Building

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (CN) – A bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Madison County criminal courts building Monday afternoon. Madison County police said a written, time-specific threat was found inside the building at 2 p.m. and the building was evacuated by 2:15 p.m. No bomb was found.     A 14-year-old boy from Florissant, Mo., has been charged with making a false bomb threat and will face proceedings in juvenile court, the Madison County state’s attorney’s office said in a statement.
