Campus concert arrest

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A federal court in Texas dismissed a Stevie Nicks concertgoer’s lawsuit against a state trooper for failure to intervene, unreasonable seizure and false arrest. She says the trooper should have intervened when a University of Tennessee, Knoxville police officer tried to place the woman’s hands behind her back, but the trooper had no such duty, and there was probable cause for her arrest: She’d just been involved in a physical altercation with another concertgoer, whose seat she had unwittingly taken.
