LUXEMBOURG – Elf Aquitaine is not liable for a $61.3 million fine imposed jointly on the parent company and its subsidiary, Arkema, since Arkema was the actual participant in a cartel on the market for monochloroacetic acid, the EU Court of Justice ruled Thursday.
