Pursuant to a stipulation agreement, a federal judge in California declared the South Bay United Pentecostal Church the prevailing party in its suit challenging the state’s Covid-19-related indoor worship restrictions. The judge also ordered Governor Gavin Newsom to pay $1.6 million to cover the church’s attorney’s fees.
