City Court Judge Named To State Bench

ST. LOUIS (CN) – St. Louis Municipal Court Judge Theresa Counts Burke was named to the 22nd Judicial Circuit. Gov. Matt Blunt named Burke, 43, to fill the position created by Michael K. Mullen’s resignation.     Burke was selected from three candidates submitted by the 22nd Judicial Circuit Commission. Burke earned her law degree from St. Louis University in 1988 and has been a municipal court judge since 2001. She also is an adjunct professor at Fontbonne University.
