Class action against Musk stumbles

BOSTON — A Massachusetts federal court partially dismissed a putative class action between Tesla customers and Elon Musk, who the customers sued because their vehicles allegedly do not have the driving ranges that were advertised by Musk and Tesla. The customers signed an agreement to arbitrate claims against Tesla, and sued Musk in an effort to sidestep this, but many of their claims are dismissed for lack of standing or are compelled to arbitration, but not for failure to state a claim.
