Crediting artists

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A federal court in New Mexico partially granted motions from art company Meow Wolf in a copyright dispute brought by artist Lauren Oliver, who sued in part under the Visual Artist Rights Act. Though the law protects artists’ right to be credited for their work, “undisputed evidence” in this case shows Oliver wanted to be credited “anonymously or pseudonymously” for the artwork in dispute.
