Criminal Hacking

A 26-year-old Connecticut man pleaded guilty Thursday after he was chargeed with hacking 250 Apple iCloud accounts, many of them belonging to entertainment figures in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES — Federal prosecutors Thursday filed a criminal information accusing George Garofano, 26, of Northford, Connecticut, of hacking into 250 Apple iCloud accounts, many of them belonging to entertainment figures in Los Angeles; he pleaded guilty to violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
