Death During Arrest

A federal judge <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Moore-Berkeley-SJ-ORDER.pdf">ruled</a></strong> Friday that the father of a transgender woman who died while being arrested lacks evidence to show the arresting officers violated the Americans with Disabilities Act – the only claim <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/judge-clears-berkeley-police-in-womans-death/">remaining</a> from the lawsuit following her death in 2013.

SAN FRANCISCO – A federal judge ruled Friday that the father of a transgender woman who died while being arrested lacks evidence to show the arresting officers violated the Americans with Disabilities Act – the only claim remaining from the lawsuit following her death in 2013.
