Deputies Killed Man Needlessly, Estate Says

ATLANTA (CN) – Three Clayton County sheriff’s officers needlessly shot a man to death while running a prostitution sting, the late Robert Turman’s survivors claim in Federal Court. His estate claims Officers Jimmy Black, Jeff Gant and Kevin Roberts wrongfully killed Turman for a suspected misdemeanor on March 29, 2007.     Plaintiffs are represented by Derek Welch.
