DuPont dumping

RALEIGH, N.C. — A federal court in North Carolina partially granted class certification in citizens’ suit against DuPont and related firms for allegedly dumping toxic perfluorinated compounds, or PFCs, into a major river since the 1970s. There are more than 100,000 potential class members, so class certification is more appropriate and efficient.
