Edward D. Jones off the hook

SACRAMENTO — Investment firm Edward D. Jones & Co. won summary judgment in a California federal court after the judge agreed that investors could not show the company breached any fiduciary duty owed to them. The investors alleged the company’s agents convinced them to invest in accounts unsuitable for their financial goals and needs.
