Three women say Corinthian Colleges denied them benefits and promotions because they rejected manager William DeFusco’s sexual impositions, in Franklin County Court, Columbus, Ohio. U-Haul and its manager Alton Birchell allowed workers to strip, sexually assault and harass a naturalized U.S. citizen co-worker because he’s from Iran, the man claims in Kansas City, Kan., Federal Court. Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Executive Assurance, in Los Angeles Superior Court; 24 Hour Fitness, and Integrated Healthcare Holdings/Western Medical Center – Santa Ana, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Harris Ranch Beef Co., in Fresno County Court; Nelimed Pharmaceutical, in Sonoma County Court, Calif.; BET Interactive/Viacom, and Harvard Protective Services, in Manhattan Federal Court; and Liberty Maintenance, in Kings County Court, Brooklyn. (Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
