WASHINGTON (CN) – The Environmental Protection Agency has revoked limits it planned to place on the use of the fungicide maneb until existing stocks, labeled for use by December 31, 2012, have been used by commercial growers. Maneb – a combination of manganese with ethylene bis(dithiocarbamate) – was banned for use as a biocide by the European Parliament in 2009.
