EU April Retail Sales

Retail sales in the 19-state eurozone crept up a tepid 0.1 percent in April while the full European Union saw a more robust rise of 0.4 percent, Eurostat <strong><a href="http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/documents/2995521/8962853/4-05062018-AP-EN.pdf/2d8c7ae7-f60f-4dba-a3a9-6f70c90f2b2b">reported</a></strong> Tuesday.

BRUSSELS – Retail sales in the 19-state eurozone crept up a tepid 0.1 percent in April while the full European Union saw a more robust rise of 0.4 percent, Eurostat reported Tuesday.

Retail sales slowed in the automotive fuel sector, while food, drinks, tobacco and nonfood products saw modest gains, the agency said.
