BRUSSELS – Retail sales in the 19-state eurozone crept up a tepid 0.1 percent in April while the full European Union saw a more robust rise of 0.4 percent, Eurostat reported Tuesday.
Retail sales slowed in the automotive fuel sector, while food, drinks, tobacco and nonfood products saw modest gains, the agency said.
