(CN) – In April 2009 the volume of retail trade grew 0.2% in the euro zone, according to Eurostat, over the March and in contrast to March when retail trade fell in by 0.1 percent compared to the month previous. However, the European Union as a whole appeared to be moving in the opposite direction, falling 0.5% in April after 0.1% rise in March.
