FCC Wants Input on New Universal Service Rule

WASHINGTON (CN) – The Federal Communications Commission seeks public comments on several issues related to Universal Broadband Service and the Connect America Fund.      Eligible Telecommunications Carriers obligations, the funding mechanisms for rate-of-return, price cap and mobile carriers, and a Remote Areas Fund, are the focus of the FCC’s request of comments on newly proposed regulations.     The agency also requests comments on several issues related to bill-and-keep, end user charges, IP-to-IP interconnection, and call signaling rules.     Click the document icon for this regulation and others.
