Firearms background check

DENVER — A federal court in Colorado denied a gun rights organization’s motion for an injunction keeping the state from enforcing a new statute rendering it illegal for anyone to purchase a gun until three days after a licensed dealer has performed a background check on the buyer. The organization could not show how its members are harmed by the law.
