Florida Courts Of Appeal

INSURANCE – A Florida appeals court affirmed judgment for Lloyd’s of London in a dispute over which insurer’s policy covered a class action against the Physician’s Corp. of America. National Union Fire Insurance and Lloyd’s of London issued consecutive liability policies to Physicians. The Lloyd’s policy covered the 1996-1997 year, while the National Union policy covered the period from 1997 to 2003. The class action against Physicians was filed in late 1997. See ruling.
