Forced arbitration in California

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A federal court in California entered, on orders from the Ninth Circuit, an order enjoining the state from enforcing portions of its labor laws that attempted to ban forced-arbitration clauses in employment contracts. The suing chambers of commerce and other retailers associations are awarded more than $800,000 in attorney fees.
