Friends feud

CHICAGO — A federal court in Illinois dismissed one of 12 claims brought by a man against his former friend, who allegedly engaged in a monthslong campaign to manipulate and gaslight the man and his boyfriend, to the point of accessing their electronic devices without permission and attempting to convince them of infidelity in the relationship. Only a negligent supervision claim is dismissed; the intentional tort and privacy violation claims will proceed.
