Geico Charged Dead Woman, Daughter Says

PORTLAND Ore. (CN) – A woman claims GEICO refused to stop automatically withdrawing insurance payments for her mother for a year and a half after she died, despite being told of her death.     Erin Williamson says that after repeated complaints, GEICO agreed to a refund, but sent checks to the “Estate of Williamson,” instead of to her.     She is represented by Jon Egan in Multnomah County Court.
