BRUSSELS – The European Commission on Tuesday cleared European budget airline easyJet’s plan to take over some of bankrupt carrier Air Berlin’s assets and rights at Berlin Tegel and several other European airports, finding sufficient competition in the sector from Lufthansa and Ryanair.
