RIVERSIDE, Calif. – James Ayres, former mayor of San Jacinto, sued the Riverside County Economic Development Agency, which fired him after he was indicted on felony and misdemeanor charges of taking kickbacks from developers; Ayres says “the charges were politically motivated and [he] expects to be completely exonerated.”
