Home solicitation dispute

SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit says the lower court did not err when it ruled in favor of a class of Dish Network customers who were suing the company under the California Home Solicitation Sales Act. The disputed TV contract was in fact made at customers’ homes and not at “appropriate trade premises,” as required by the law.
