Hospital termination

NEW ORLEANS — A federal court in Louisiana declined to dismiss a hospital’s former supervisor of clinical trials’ disability discrimination claims. The hospital says she was fired for sending photos of her breasts to a subordinate, who was also her medical power of attorney and personal nurse; she says she was fired because she needed to miss work to treat her breast cancer. This issue of fact precludes dismissal.
