NEW ORLEANS — An elementary school principal in New Orleans unsuccessfully sought to dismiss race discrimination and retaliation claims brought by a 28-year kindergarten paraprofessional with a “stellar employment record.” She says the new principal accused her of smelling like weed on school grounds and pulling the hair of a 5-year-old autistic student, allegations that were proven false and embarrassing. She is given leave to address minor deficiencies in her pleadings.
