Hotel not owed defense from trafficking claims

PHILADELPHIA — A federal court in Pennsylvania declared that a group of insurers do not have to defend a hotel whose employees are accused of complicity in allowing women to be victims of sex trafficking at the facility. Insurers may not provide insurance for losses attributable to harmful criminal conduct.
