Ice cream creep

SCRANTON, Penn. — A man’s false arrest and malicious prosecution claims against a police officer failed in Pennsylvania court. He repeatedly visited an ice cream shop and allegedly made underage female employees uncomfortable, for example by returning over the course of three days, asking personal questions of the workers and commenting on a girl’s “sexy legs.” This constituted probable cause to arrest him for stalking, harassment and disorderly conduct, even if the charges were eventually dropped.
