Independent Agencies Must Make Regulation Review Plan

WASHINGTON (CN) – President Barack Obama has ordered each independent regulatory agency to develop a plan within four months under which it periodically will review its significant regulations. The plan is to be released to the public.     The agencies are to determine whether the regulations should be modified, streamlined, expanded, or repealed to make the agency’s regulatory program more effective or less burdensome in achieving the regulatory objectives.     Click the document icon for this regulation and others.
