Inspection fees

SCRANTON, Penn. — Mortgage company Fay Servicing faces two class claims related to inspection fees it charged property owners whose form mortgage agreements did not permit the servicer to conduct inspections or levy fees for them without proper written notice. In this Pennsylvania federal lawsuit, an estate administratrix showed that the fees were charged without following the procedures outlined in the parties’ original and modified loan agreements.
