LOS ANGELES – A Superior Court class action claims Midland National Life Insurance settled a class action for failing to disclose costly surrender penalties and shifting the cost of high sales commissions to purchasers of deferred annuities older than 65, but did the same thing, without redress, to customers younger than 65.
