Intel Faces Antitrust Monopoly Complaint

OMAHA (CN) – Intel monopolizes the worldwide market for X86 microprocessors by “coerce(ing) customers to refrain from dealing with Intel’s major competitors,” forcing customers into exclusive deals, threatening retaliation, and forcing PC makers to boycott competitors, restraining competition and inflating prices, according to a class-action antitrust complaint in Federal Court.
