(CN) – Reclusive author J.D. Salinger died of natural causes at his home on Wednesday. He was 91. His iconic novel “The Catcher in the Rye,” with rebellious teen protagonist Holden Caulfield, has sold more than 60 million copies worldwide since its publication in 1951.
