Jury not instructed

TEXARKANA, Texas — A criminal defendant’s murder conviction was overturned by an appeals court in Texas. Though the evidence suffices to support the conviction, the trial court erred in failing to instruct the jury that they could alternatively convict the man of manslaughter, not just murder.
